First of all, I have to stress the fact that I bought this camera on a lightning flash sale from Amazon for $20.00 plus tax. It came to about $22.00. The shipping of this item took about a day and a half which was really fast. The package was pretty much just a cardboard box.
I have taken two images to add here. One to show the contents of the package upon arrival and the other to show what the camera looks like mounted on my screen.
I have also recorded a short video just so that you can see the quality of the camera. I personally think that for $20.00 this camera was a steal.
As soon as I got it I removed it from the package and plugged it into my Windows 10 Pro Desktop PC. Windows immediately recognized and installed the proper drivers for it without any assistance from me.
I then started up an app that would allow me to check to see if the camera was indeed working properly.
Upon starting the app, I immediately saw myself in the video and knew that it was working and that I was impressed with the quality of the output of the camera.
I then tried to record a video and found that the microphone was not working for some reason. I double-checked the instructions to make sure that it had a microphone built-in. It does.
I then started checking system settings and found out that Windows automatically muted the microphone on the camera upon installation. I did not know that Windows did that.
Make sure that after you perform the install, you check to make sure that you have a working microphone. If it does not work, just check the system and unmute the mic.
Other than that, I had zero issues with this camera.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a low budget, high-quality camera. I think you will be quite pleased with the overall quality of this camera.
