Setup was easy enough in the SwitchBot app with signing up for the free account.
Linking to Alexa and Google Home was easy.
Basic control can be accomplished with Alexa and Google Home.

The outlet has a slide safety shutter that requires a little wiggling to insert a plug.
Because the plug body flares wider to the rear these cannot be stacked in all standard outlets.

The SwitchBot app provides measurement of actual power consumption in amps and watts.
While basic switching function can be accomplished with smaller cheaper plugs, the power measurement provides a cool upgrade.
I move these around to examine "vampire power" of various devices that are plugged in, but not being used.
It is fun and informative to see power consumption of various devices.

Great Value Smart Plugs with Reliable HomeKit Integration

I got into the SwitchBot ecosystem starting with their smart remote, then moved on to their smart lock—both of which impressed me with solid performance and seamless Apple HomeKit integration. Since I already had several switches at home and was specifically looking for ones that support HomeKit, I was glad to find this 4-pack of Smart Plug Minis at a very reasonable price. The setup was quick, integration was smooth, and it fits well with the rest of my smart home devices. Energy Monitoring is a great bonus—it provides real-time energy consumption data, helping me make more informed decisions about appliance usage. Smart Home Integration is excellent too, with support for Apple HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, Siri Shortcuts, and SmartThings, making voice and app control easy and flexible.

Never knew I would want these as much as I do now because of what it can save for power

These are surprisingly easy to set-up and link to the Samsung Smart things app. We are using one for a CPAP machine that we now found out that draws more power than it should. Setting this up in the APP was easy and we used a schedule for keeping our power consumption low. I love the fact this reports how much it drains or saves you from things that would use power unnecessarily. We haven't found any other items yet that drains way more power than I expected but I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Might check out their other products because we have multiple ceiling fans in our house and I hope they have a good solution to automatically shutting it down or on a schedule.

Nice 4-pack of smart plugs. I got this specifically for the floor lamp in our hallway that we use for lighting overnight. Instead of having to keep cutting it on at night and off in the morning, I saw these plugs as a way to automatically do that.

The plug was very easy to set up once I downloaded and activated the SwitchBot app. I like that once I set it up, it quickly linked me to my Apple Home app, so that I could control the plug from there as well.

I first tested it to see if it would simply cut the light on and off, and it worked fine. I then tested it to see if it would turn on and off based on time, and it worked perfectly.

I will use the other 3 plugs as needed, but for now, I am very happy with this one plug.

Good working switchbot plugs work great with their software. They responded quickly and work well with my other switchbot devices like the one to open/close your curtains. The plugs themselves set up easily within the app and work well using light sensors to turn on and off lights. Happy to be getting everything under one app.
